How To Use A Pallet Strapping Kit

Using a pallet strapping kit is a straightforward way to strap your parcels or pallets securely. These kits includes everything you need – a coil of polypropylene strapping, a tensioner tool, metal seals, and a sealing tool. Follow these simple steps to use the kit:

  1. Wrap the Strapping:
    Begin by looping the polypropylene strapping around your pallet or parcel and cut to length (leaving some excess strap available).

  2. Insert Through the Tensioner:
    Feed the ends of the strapping through the tensioner tool to set it up for tightening.

  3. Tighten the Strapping:
    Use the lever on the tensioner tool to tighten the strapping securely around your package. Ensure you achieve a firm hold without over-tightening.

  4. Apply the Metal Seal:
    Slide a metal seal onto both layers of the tightened strapping just in front of the tensioner tool.

  5. Secure the Seal:
    Use the sealing tool to firmly press the metal seal and secure it to the strapping.

  6. Trim the Excess:
    Finally, press the tensioner lever to cut off any excess strapping and slide the tensioner out.
