Machine Pallet Wrap

Machine pallet wrap (also known as machine stretch film) is designed for high-volume wrapping operations, delivering faster application, consistent stretch, and secure pallet loads with minimal waste. We stock rolls from 12 to 25 micron in both clear and black film, all wound on a standard 76 mm core to suit automated dispensers and stretch wrapping systems.

Options include varying levels of pre-stretch to suit different load weights and machine settings. All films are compatible with our Robopac and Optimax pallet wrapping machines and are selected for reliability across industrial and warehouse environments. Pre-stretch film is elongated in the machine’s pre-stretch unit before application, increasing yield and reducing plastic use, while still maintaining strong load stability. Standard film stretches during application, allowing tension to be adjusted to suit heavier or irregular loads.

It will physically fit and run, but without a powered pre-stretch carriage you won’t gain any of its intended benefits. In non-pre-stretch machines, it offers no advantage over standard film and may not perform as well on load containment. For best results, only use pre-stretch film on machines designed for it.

All of our machine stretch film rolls are wound on a standard 76 mm core, making them compatible with most automated dispensers and pallet wrapping machines.

Yes. Our machine stretch films are made from recyclable LDPE and can be recycled where facilities exist. We also offer reduced-micron films to help cut plastic use.

Film thickness, measured in microns, should be matched to the weight and stability of the load. Lighter, stable pallets may only require 12–15 micron film, while heavier or irregular loads may need 20–25 micron.

Machine Pallet Wrap Options

We supply machine pallet wrap for both pre-stretch and standard (post-stretch) applications. Pre-stretch film is mechanically elongated in the wrapper’s pre-stretch unit before it’s applied, giving a higher yield per roll and reducing material use while improving load stability. It can only be used with machines that have pre-stretch capability. Standard machine film stretches during application, making it suitable for heavier or irregular loads where tension can be adjusted to match the product.

Our range includes multiple thicknesses, roll lengths and colour options to suit different wrapping requirements. Clear film allows for easy load identification, while black film offers added load security by concealing contents and reducing light exposure. Recyclable and reduced-micron films are also available for operations looking to cut plastic use without affecting performance.
