Gummed Water Activated Tape Dispensers

Types of Gummed Paper Tape Dispensers

Manual gummed tape dispensers are used for very low-volume packing or trial use. These dispensers sit on a bench or packing table and do not require a power supply. Tape is activated and applied by the operator and they are typically used where cartons are sealed infrequently.

Standard electric gummed tape dispensers dispense pre-set or variable lengths of activated tape and require a power supply. These machines are suited to regular packing environments and provide more consistent tape lengths and water activation compared to manual dispensers.

High output electric dispensers are designed for more frequent use and higher packing volumes. These machines automatically dispense cut lengths of activated tape and are commonly used in busier warehouse and fulfilment environments.

Tape Compatibility

Gummed paper tape dispensers are designed specifically for use with water-activated paper tape. Both plain gummed tape and reinforced gummed tape can be used, depending on carton weight and sealing requirements.

These dispensers are not compatible with plastic, PVC or filament tapes.
