Gummed Paper Tape and Water Tape

Water Activated Packing Tape is the next generation of packing tapes. Also referred to as WAT or gummed paper tape, it is the ideal solution for any warehousing or dispatch operation looking for eco-friendly, permanent parcel adhesion.

Water Activated Tape is widely considered to be the most economical packing tape on the market. The packing tape of choice for most warehousing or dispatch operations; WAT tape is supplied in long length rolls for minimal down-time, is distributed by a dispenser for controlled usage, offers first-time bonding to both recycled and non-recycled fibreboard and offers excellent resistance to humidity and temperature extremes.

Made from Kraft paper and a starch-based adhesive, Gummed Paper Tape holds excellent sustainability properties, is fully recyclable and can be used as a direct alternative to regular plastic packing tapes, providing a more planet-friendly, tamper evident seal.

Our Water Activated Packing Tape is available in plain and reinforced styles and in widths of both 48mm and 70mm.

Plain WAT

Available in 48mm and 70mm widths, offering 200M in length and permanent adhesion to a multitude of cardboard boxes. Plain WAT is the most economical paper tape solution, suitable for the majority of packing applications.

Reinforced WAT

Reinforced with Glassfibre, this packing tape is available in 48mm and 70mm widths, offering 100M in length and permanent adhesion to a multitude of cardboard boxes.
